Crazy 4 Challenges #238

Good morning friends!

It's time for another challenge at the Crazy 4 Challenges blog! This week the theme is "School's Out ... we are to make a card showing what we might be doing during the summer holidays".

We used to camp a lot, so I went with a camping theme. I also decided to make this into a Father's Day card!

I love the Katie Label Pivot, a Pop it Ups die by Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Craft Designs. I also used an older stamp set - it's always good to get out our older ones and use them again!

The lantern and mosquitoes were stamped right onto the Katie Label decorator die, but the binoculars, sleeping bag and campfire were stamped on scraps of white card stock and fussy cut out so I could pop them up with foam tape.

I added another label (trimmed) as an area to sign the card, and stamped the marshmallows and bugs directly on that. The words on the pivoting label were hand lettered.

Finally, here is the card views from the top and the back ...

I hope you will check out what the rest of the Crazies came up with for this challenge, and link up your projects if you play along!

Supplies used:
Card size: Standard A2 (5-1/2 x 4-1/4")
Katie Label Pivot - Pop it Ups, Karen Burniston (Elizabeth Craft Designs)
Patterned paper - We R Memory Keepers
Stamps - Stampin' Up (Retired)
Copics
Wink of Stella

Thanks for stopping by today!
