C4C249 Sketch Challenge

Good morning friends!

Good morning friends!  Saturday means it's time for another challenge at the Crazy 4 Challenges Blog. Helen Cryer is our hostess for August, and she has provided us with a fun sketch to use:

I used the sketch for the front of my card:

The snowman and holly were fussy cut from papers in the stack … I love the foil bits paired with the Kraft prints.

Check out the snowman's scarf - I used the scarf that comes with Chilly the Penguin, a Pop it Ups Character die that is in the Summer 2014 release at Elizabeth Craft Designs.

Inside, I used the new Lorna Label Pop UP - another die in the same release. The papers are from the same stack, and I added another fussy cut snowman decorated with a shiny scarf.

The new Outdoor Edges made cutting the snowbank quick and easy …

I finally broke down and ordered two Blueprints die sets from My Favorite Things. LOVE them - the stitched panel on the card front, and the stitched border are Blueprints dies. I especially like how they look from the foiled paper! Have to remember that.

We would sure love you to play along with the challenge, and link up your project. Be sure to check out what the rest of the Crazies have come up with for the challenge, at the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. You are in for a treat as everyone interpreted the sketch their own way.
